Pace: 8-10 minutes per mile
Day/Time/Distance:

Monday - 6.00 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 5-6 miles
Tuesday - 6.00 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 5-6 miles
Wednesday - 6.05 a.m. Fitness First at Jefferson; 4 miles (tempo or recovery)
Thursday - 5.45 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 7-8 miles (hills)
Friday - 6.00 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 5-6 miles
Saturday - @ 7.00 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 6-20 miles
Sunday - @ 7.00 a.m. and 9.00 a.m. Fitness First at Westridge; 6-10 miles (sometimes longer)
Location: We meet at Fitness First to utilize bathrooms and stretching. Don't have to be a member of Fitness First to join us. All runners can utilize the bathroom facilities.
Comments: We have a 5-minute rule, we wait about 5 minutes before we leave unless you call. The mileage above will also vary depending on the weather and people’s training schedules. Weekly e-mails sent out updating any runs. Contact Vicki Bate to be added to her weekly e-mails.

SATURDAY MORNING STRIDERS

Pace: 7-9 minutes per mile.
Day/Time: Saturdays @ 7am
Location: Starbucks on 7th Street
Distance: Normally in the 10-15 mile range.

BAKER PARK EVENING GROUP

Pace: all paces are welcome
Day/Time: Thursday at 6:30 and/or 7:00 pm (6:00 and/or 6:30 pm on first Wednesday of each month)
Distance: 6 miles (2 loops) or 3 miles (1 loop) (can do either). For 3 miles--come at 6:30 or 7:00 pm.
Location: Talley Recreation Center at Baker Park.

EARLY MORNING RISERS

Pace: 7:15 to 8 minutes per mile
Day/Time: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 5:30 a.m.
Distance: 6-8 miles (50-65 minutes total)
Location: Westridge.

Distance: 8 miles
Location: Frederick High School.
Comments: Rain or shine.

'IF THE SHOE FITS' GROUP

Pace: Very leisurely 10:30 per mile or so
Day/Time: Saturdays. Leave at 5:30 a.m. for 20 mile runners. For less-than 20 milers, we start at 6:00 a.m. and return at 7:00 a.m. to pick up more runners.
Distance: Varies
Location: Baker Park by the Talley Rec Center.
Comments: Regular bathroom breaks. We specialize in finding the cleanest outhouses and bathrooms open at that hour.

ULTRAS / TRAIL RUNNING
Mike O's 3-D Trail Team
Contact: Mike O'Grady (mikeo@acebarcode.com) Sunday mornings normally in the Frederick Watershed, Gambrill Park, or the C&O Canal. Range is 8-18 miles. Pace averages 9 to 10 minute miles.

Carole's 100 mile Club
Contact: Carole Smith (carole7313smith@juno.com) Sunday mornings at a variety of locations where you wonder if you will come back with all your limbs intact. The range is in the 15 to 25 mile range and average of 12 minutes per mile pace.
