JFK 50 – Mile 19 Aid Station

Come out and cheer on the runners at the FSRC JFK Mile 19 Aid station! 

Our aid station is located at Lock 34 on the C&O canal. You’ll see a small parking lot off of Harper’s Ferry Road but you aren’t allowed to park there. There are just a few spaces and they are reserved for those of us bringing lots of supplies and for the emergency radio volunteer.

PARKING:  The options are admittedly not great.  It’s about a mile walk from the Harpers Ferry Station Lot (fee) using the footbridge and the C&O towpath. It’s a pleasant walk.

We have permission from the owner of Blue Mountain Retreat Center to use their parking area on Hoffmaster Road. She asks that we use the larger area on the left of driveway and park closely together. Address is: 1032 Hoffmaster Rd, Knoxville, MD 21758 https://goo.gl/maps/AXAQD8mMBPe1A2Kn8

If you use either of those two options be VERY careful walking on the road. There is no shoulder. Carpooling is encouraged
