Proceeds from the event will be directed toward the medical costs of our rescued dogs. In 2016, OPH rescued and provided care for close to 1000 dogs – some needing much more care than others. This care has exceeded $150,000 this year. This is a kid and pet-friendly event!
**Grand Prix Race #4** This scenic and rolling 10K course will take you on a journey through the heart of Frederick County’s dairy production region. The loop course celebrates spring’s awakening, taking participants past numerous farms, along Catoctin Creek on a dirt road, and across two one-lane, wooden deck bridges.

In 2017, the Frederick Running Festival will continue its long-standing tradition of hosting supported on-course training runs to help you prepare for race day. With help from the Frederick Steeplechasers Running Club, we will have a 12 mile supported course training run that is FREE and open to the public.
